Jan Stigland is a painter and sculptor whose work focuses on understanding "die Aufgabe".
Jan attended the University of Gothenburg (1975-80), and received a Bachelor's degree in History and Social Sciences. He later attended Gerlesborg Art School in Stockholm and studied there 1984-86.
